Kimberly Miles
Having studied BA (Hons) Graphic Design at the Arts University Bournemouth, graduating with a 2:1 this Summer, I am now ready and eager to join the design industry.
I am an optimistic, creative, all-round graphic designer with skills in various different areas. My passion is for print based, editorial design, as I take pride in the presentation of my work with great attention to detail, using layouts, grids and typography. I have gained these skills and knowledge through previous projects, which I have seen through from initial concept to design and finish, and I am able to apply them to digital design.
I feel that new digital media is extremely interesting and important and, as a quick learner who enjoys adopting new skills, I would love to experience more digital design, including websites and apps, which I have previously touched upon. I am confident using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and have basic knowledge of After Effects, Premier Pro and Dreamweaver.
I enjoy branding and logo design, as it enables me to visually communicate a corporate identity through graphics and different mediums, and I feel it is one of my strengths. I have experienced managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and creating print ready artwork. As well as being able to contribute my skills and ideas, I am willing to learn, I have the ability to work well both individually and as part of a team, and I would love to have the opportunity to join your company.
